Excellent for my 2 night stay ..local for family as I was travelling from Australia and her for 6 weeks passing through for various family visits and locations....the meal we had and food was excellent .. ..i will definitely be back on my next visit.

Sadly bar area closed about 8.45pm ...maybe this was due to mid week ? However staff was brilliant and let us know it was closing so we could use toilets and bar . we continued to have our drinks and coffee outside. ...

Friendly staff, off the beaten track, secure parking, quiet room with a comfortable bed. Delicious meal from the restaurant in the evening; wholesome breakfast before leaving in the morning.

I visit the area from London and stay at the Hogs Head twice a year. I’ve been staying there for over 10 years..The owners (Annette and Andy) are lovely people and they have a super friendly team. Highly recommended

Nice quiet you don't have to ask for a quiet room. Good breakfast choice Not many hotels provide you with face cloths Overall a very pleasant hotel.

Just think that the bar could stay open until21.00. I arrived at 19.40 just in time to order a pint.

Absolute fantastic, 3rd time staying. Never any faults or problems during our stays. Credit to management and all staff. Highly Highly recommended. Thanks for everything you all do.

Perfect location for our trip to Trent Bridge - staff on site were very welcoming and helpful - we had to check in early and were not back until later in the evening all of which was accommodated very easily. Excellent breakfast selection - had everything we required - would definitely book for future trips. Rooms were neat and tidy with an excellent shower - ideal on a very hot day! Lovely outside seating area.

Important to say that our stay coincided with the hottest recorded temperatures ever for June so take this comment in that context- the room had no A/C although a large fan was provided.

Very clean room. Peaceful location. We arrived late and the hosts sorted that out without any problems
