Ilkeston Market operates on Thursdays and Saturdays, and is located in the Market Square outside the Town Hall.
Directions:
Leave the hotel by the drive and follow the road back into Awsworth Village, turn left at the end of the road (The Donkey Piece) and follow the road until you reach a small island take the second exit from the island and go straight on to the next island take the second exit (1st one is Tesco Car Park) to the next island and then take the second exit.
After leaving the island you should take the second turning on the left which is Wharncliffe Road, stay on this road all the way until you reach the top of the hill which will bring you to a large church on your right with a green spire. In front of you is the market.
To park turn right this will bring you to the entrance of the CO-OP multi storey car park.
The following car parks also give easy access to the markets.
• East Street, Market Place, Toll Bar House (Sat only) and Town Hall car parks offer long stay parking.
• Albion Centre, Albion Centre (extension), Queen Street and South Street car parks all offer short stays (up to 3 hrs)
