It was a nice hotel. Very comfortable and lovely being in the countryside and nice and quiet. I enjoyed the breakfast and you were super efficient. Many thanks

Unfortunately a cup and saucer had been left by I presume a previous client which had been used. Apart from that I was well impressed.

My booking was for my brother and myself with him having the double room and myself having a single. Both rooms were as expected, although mine was much better than expected from single accommodation, I would love to have this one again on future visits.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
I enjoyed my stay, room was great, breakfast good. Would have been good to have grab rail(s) in the shower cubicle. Great out of town location, look forward to another stay in the future.

Comfortable bed. Very good shower and lovely breakfast.

We did find thst 3/4 of the pillows were very firm and uncomfortable so we slept with the small decorative pillows. It didnt spoil our stay, but if wr stay again, we would ask for a softer pillow.

Everyone was friendly . Good food (but portions too big !). Only disappointment was the bar closing at 10pm.

We have been coming here for years. It’s a great base from which to explore the Peak District. The owners Annette and Andy are lovely people. The rooms are great and the food from the restaurant and the breakfast offer is super. They also have a super friendly team who always make you feel welcome.

Whenever I'm in Nottingham this is my go to accommodation, excellent Staff, Rooms and Food. Great value and I have never had a bad stay, which is more than can be said of a few places I've stayed. Back soon and thank you!!

Room was nice and cosy, quiet, not too hot or cold, bed was comfy, had everything I needed, and I liked that it wasn't just a boring chain hotel bedroom crate. I liked the character wardrobe on the landing on its plinth for a bit of history. Breakfast was excellent, all in all I would happily stay again, pricing was also excellent given the included breakfast. I would say the place was a little quirky and that's why I loved it. Wonderful stay thanks very much Lorraine.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
My only complaint was that the bathroom didn't have hooks or a rail to hang the towel, and if that's the only complaint I think that's pretty good going.
